Department Announcements CSAP/TCAP This past spring, students in Colorado took the CSAP (Colorado Student Assessment Program). Your student will be receiving their scores to bring home by September 9th. During the next two years, students will be taking a transitional assessment as Colorado moves toward implementing new state standards. The test students take will be called the TCAP. The Transitional Colorado Assessment Program (TCAP) is Colorado’s standards-based assessment designed to provide a picture of student performance to schools, districts, educators, parents and the community. In 2014, the goal is to have a new assessment system in place that addresses the new state standards.
